A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) and the St. Andrews Georgian University (SANGU).
The memorandum was signed by Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat, and Mr. Irakli Brachuli, Rector of the University.
According to the signed document, university students will undertake internships at Geostat, which will help them deepen their knowledge and enhance their practical skills.
Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat, stated that collaboration of this kind with higher education institutions is of great importance. According to him, on the one hand, it encourages active student involvement in Geostat’s activities, while on the other, it allows the agency to create employment prospects for outstanding students.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to promote the advancement of students’ qualifications and the development of professional skills through the joint efforts and support of both parties.
