The Executive Director of Geostat, Gogita Todradze, together with Lasha Jinjikhadze, Head of the Strategic Planning and Coordination Department, is participating in the international forum dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the statistics of Kazakhstan. The event is being held in Astana on 6-7 November.
The topic of this year’s forum is “Digital Transformation of National Statistical Systems”. During the event, Mr Todradze contributed to several panel discussions and delivered a presentation to participants. In his address, he outlined recent developments and achievements within Georgia’s national statistics system, shared insights on ongoing challenges, and highlighted future priorities and plans.
The forum brings together heads of national statistical offices from partner countries, representatives of international organisations, the diplomatic community, local business sector, and academia.
Geostat places particular emphasis on the process of digital transformation, the introduction of innovative methodologies, and initiatives aimed at improving data quality, which are the main directions of modernization of the Georgian statistical system.
