Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat, took part in an international forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national statistical system of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was held on 23 April in Bishkek.
The theme of the international forum was “Modernisation of Statistical Business Processes: Shaping a New Ecosystem for Official Statistics.” It featured thematic sessions covering the development of modern statistical systems, the integration of new data sources, the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, and the strengthening of statistical capacity.
As part of the forum, Mr. Todradze participated in a session addressing the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in responding to the growing demand for statistical data. In his speech, he presented to international colleagues the reforms implemented within Georgia’s statistical system, highlighted progress achieved and ongoing initiatives aimed at improving data production and dissemination processes.
The forum brought together representatives of international organisations, as well as heads and delegates of national statistical offices from various countries.
