Ms. Maria Giuseppina Muratore, sociologist, PHD in Methodology of Social Research, works in Istat since 1994 and is senior researcher since 2004. Expert on crime studies, justice statistics and violence against women, is responsible since 20 years for victimization surveys and violence against women surveys and from 2017 of the Integrated System on Gender based Violence in Italy. Since 2009 works on judicial and crime statistics (police, court, convicted, prison) and since 2012 on civil and administrative justice statistics and statistics on notaries’ activities.  
Authors of many reports on crime, justice statistics, victimization and violence data, she addressed the crime topic from several point of views, data analysis, methodology, quality assessment of the processes. She is also reference point for the safety area of the Italian Wellbeing Report (BES – Benessere equo e sostenibile).  At International level, she was one of the key contributors for the UNODC-UNECE Manual of Victimization survey, UNECE manual on Gender statistics and many other reports. Furthermore, she is member of many United Nation (UNECE, UNODC, UNSD, and Centre of Excellence on Crime Statistics) and European (Eurostat, FRA, EIGE) task forces and Working/expert groups on crime statistics, crime classification (ICCS) and gender-based violence. Recently she is part of the European Commission subgroup on equality data (2018), of the UNODC/Centre of Excellence Task force on Corruption (2016) and she is in charge of supporting (Istat Grant, 2016) the Eurostat Task Force on GBV for developing a common methodology to implement a European Gender Based Violence Survey.

Ms. Tamar Vashakidze, Founder and General Assembly Member of BRIDGE, is an international development professional specialising in gender equality and women’s rights. She brings over nine years of experience in gender programming, research, analysis and mainstreaming, including transposing gender frameworks in diverse disciplines and delivering capacity building trainings in Georgia, wider South Caucasus, Central Asia and Middle East; Areas of expertise include project design, management, research, policy analysis, monitoring&evaluation, advocacy, communications, capacity building, strategic planning, grants management.  Ms. T. Vashakidze holds B.A. in Law from Tbilisi State University and LL.M degree in Democratic Governance & Rule of Law from Ohio Northern University.
