National Statistics Office of Georgia hosts colleagues from the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Within three days, Georgian colleagues will share their experience with in external debt and international investment statistics production. According to the Executive Director of Geostat, Ms. Meri Daushvili, such kind of meetings are very important, facilitate the exchange of information and to share the experience among the parties. 
During the meeting the various important issues were discussed: methodology and main tools for conducting statistical survey of external debt, technical processing of database and software issues. The meeting at Geostat was attended by the staff of the Office together with the representative of National Bank of Georgia.
