The National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) hosted a presentation of the Energy Statistics Portal for members of the Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association (GREDA). The event was attended by 25 GREDA members.
The Energy Statistics Portal has been operational since June of this year. It presents statistical data related to the energy sector in a clear and user-friendly format. The portal allows users to analyze the country’s energy sector in one integrated space through modern tools of interactive charts and data visualization.
The portal consists of four main modules: Energy Balance, Short-term Energy Statistics, Energy Consumption in Households, and Energy Key Indicators.
Geostat’s goal is to provide the public with reliable, comprehensive, and easily accessible statistical information, which will significantly enhance the planning and management of energy policy at all levels.
