The National Statistics Office of Georgia is elaborating the 2026-2027 Action Plan under the National Strategy for the Development of Official Statistics (NSDS) 2024-2027.
The Action Plan is a national policy document that outlines the activities required to achieve the medium- and long-term goals and objectives aimed at strengthening statistical capacity across the National Statistical System. A major priority is to support evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, the development of statistics for monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), as well as regional, sectoral, and other important areas, together with overall capacity building within the National Statistics System, remain strategic priorities.
Active engagement of all interested organizations and individuals is essential in the strategy development process. Accordingly, public consultations are planned as part of the document preparation. These consultations aim to promote inclusive and participatory decision-making, ensuring that the perspectives shared contribute to shaping the activities of the Action Plan.

Participation in the consultations is open to both organizations and individuals.
