The Executive Director of National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), Mr. Gogita Todradze, welcomed His Excellency Mustafa Türker Arı, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, the parties reflected on the strong and longstanding friendship and partnership between Georgia and Türkiye.
Discussions also focused on the vital role of official statistics in supporting social and economic development, the role of modern statistical systems, and the importance of data-driven decision-making.
Mr. Todradze introduced the Ambassador of Türkiye to the activities of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, its ongoing initiatives, and the reforms implemented in the field of official statistics.
The parties also discussed the value of professional collaboration between national statistical institutes and the exchange of experience.
