External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-organized trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 9681 million in January-November 2013 (preliminary data), up 4 percent from the same period of the previous year. The value of export grew by 20 percent reaching USD 2618 million, while the import decreased by 2 percent and amounted to USD 7064 million with respect to the same period of the previous year. The trade deficit equaled USD 4446 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 46 percent.
