In the framework of cooperation project between Geostat and Statistics Sweden the annual meeting was held in National Statistics Office of Georgia. 
The meeting will be attended by the representatives of Geostat's management, Statistics Sweden and Sida. The aim of the meeting is to present progress achieved during 2016, discuss current issues and future plans. It is planned to present annual report describing missions conducted, study visits and trainings taken place during 2016.
 Cooperation project between Geostat and Statistics Sweden has launched in 2011. In 2015 the second phase of the project was started which will last till 2018. In the framework of the project Statistics Sweden provides technical assistance to Geostat in the fields of inflation, GDP, quality improvement Environment Statistics, Gender Statistics and training of staff. The project is financed by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida.). 
The representatives of Geostat, Statistics Sweden and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency attended the meeting.
