On 14 November 2025, Mr Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), met with a World Bank delegation led by Mr Ambar Narayan, Poverty and Equity Global Practice Manager for the Europe and Central Asia region.
The delegation is undertaking an official working visit to Georgia over the course of several days to strengthen cooperation with national institutions and to review the implementation of ongoing programmes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current priorities, ongoing activities, and opportunities for future collaboration. The World Bank team provided updates on developments within the framework of their ongoing initiatives.
Mr Gogita Todradze provided the delegation with detailed information on current and planned activities at Geostat.
Both sides expressed their commitment to continuing active collaboration and jointly pursuing programmes that support enhanced statistical capacity and evidence-based policy-making in Georgia.
